After more than ten months in North America, Kazakhstani captain Sanzhar 'neaLaN' Ishkakov might return back to Europe, having failed to achieve significant success with Evil Geniuses. His new team could be GamerLegion.

According to insiders from Dust2.us, neaLaN will join GamerLegion along with former Into The Breach player Sebastian 'volt' Malos. Together, the updated five will perform at IEM Cologne 2023.

The lineup's debut is set to take place on July 29, where GamerLegion will play in Group A at IEM Cologne 2023 against a team from the Play-In stage.

In contrast to GamerLegion, the new Evil Geniuses lineup with players from EG Black will not be at IEM Cologne 2023, and the team was demolished by Vitality in their first match at the ongoing BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2023.
