NEO will be FaZe's coach at IEM Cologne 2023

The unexpected departure of Robin 'RobbaN' Dahlström a day before BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2023 already had some impact on the FaZe lineup, but it seems that the Swede has found a temporary replacement in the face of the former legend of the golden lineup of Virtus.pro.

As reported by Dust2.us, retired coach RobbaN will be replaced by Filip 'NEO' Kubski – a major champion with VP and co-founder of HONORIS. It's expected that FaZe will work together with NEO at least at IEM Cologne 2023, while future plans for the coaching position remain unknown.

It should be noted that this is not the first time FaZe and NEO's paths have crossed – the Pole has previously performed for the organization on a trial basis as captain in the first half of 2019. During those few months at the club, the team managed only a 2nd place finish at the BLAST Pro Series: Los Angeles 2019, while the rest of the tournaments, including the Berlin major, were a failure.

Remember, FaZe is currently playing without a coach at BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2023 – they have already managed to win against the revamped OG roster. As for IEM Cologne, their first match will be held on July 30 against a team from the Play-In stage.
