ESL have shared the group seeding and match schedule for IEM Sydney 2023. The tournament will start on October 16 and will be the first big LAN on CS2.
The peculiarity of the group stage of IEM Sydney 2023 is that the opening matches will be held not only in bo1 format, but also under the MR12 system, which frankly surprised the Counter-Strike community.

IEM Sydney 2023 will be held from October 16 to 22 at the Aware Super Theatre located in Sydney, Australia. The tournament will have a prize pool of $250,000. The winner will receive not only $100,000 for first place, but also a trip to IEM Katowice 2024.
