On January 18, the closed qualifiers for ESL One Raleigh 2025 for Western Europe began. The day was full of exciting matchups. We already know two teams that will compete tomorrow for a place in the grand final.

Situation in the Upper Bracket

The day started with a match between AVULUS and Night Pulse, which unexpectedly ended with AVULUS losing 0-2. Simultaneously, NAVI JR played against OG. As expected, OG lost their match against NAVI Junior without a chance and dropped to the lower bracket.

The second pair of matches began with Gaimin Gladiators against Passion UA. Despite some surprises, GG took the series, but Passion managed to take the second map and had decent chances to take the first. The final result was 2-1 in favor of GG. Alongside them, Tundra Esports played against Team Secret. The match ended with a 2-1 victory for Tundra.

The upper bracket semifinals opened with Night Pulse against NAVI Junior. The match ended with an easy win for the NAVI academy. In the parallel match, Tundra Esports once again defeated Gaimin Gladiators with a score of 2-0.

Situation in the Lower Bracket

In the lower bracket of the qualifiers, AVULUS and OG, as well as Passion UA and Team Secret, will face off against each other in an elimination game. In the next round, the winners of these pairs will play against Gaimin Gladiators and Night Pulse, respectively. Tomorrow, we will say goodbye to four teams.
