MUTiRiS on making the IEM Cologne playoffs: "I'm used to seeing all the teams there on my PC"

SAW already made history this year by becoming the first Portuguese team to playa t a CS Major, but now they’ve made even more history by securing a playoff berth at IEM Cologne 2024.

They’ll first have to play a game against NAVI to decide whether they enter the playoffs in the quarter-finals or semi-finals, but following their win against The MongolZ we spoke to MUTiRiS to get his immediate reaction after achieving a goal he’s been working towards for his entire career.

You've made it to the playoffs of IEM Cologne, how are you feeling?

I don't know how I'm feeling because I've never been in a Cologne tournament and now we're in the arena. I'm excited to be there and I hope it will be a good game there. But, before that, we have one more game, so let's see.

How are you feeling about that game?

Everything is a plus. We are just feeling very happy, this game was very shaky in the end and I think the pressure hit us a little bit, but they were playing so well that they made the game very tough. It was a good game and we had a lot of pressure, but we won so I'm happy.

What do you think the arena will be like?

I don't know, I'm used to seeing all the teams there on my PC, so I just feel like, I'm not going to say the best day of my life, but I'll never forget it, for sure.
