Mirage is the most popular map in CS2

According to the csgostats portal, Mirage has become the most popular map in Counter-Strike 2's premiere mode. This map was played in 27.12% of matches between September 1 and 7. The second most popular map is Inferno with 21.44%, and Overpass is the third with 15.50%. The full list of maps by popularity looks like this:

1. Mirage – 27.12%;
2. Inferno – 21.44%;
   
3. Overpass – 15.50%;
   
4. Nuke – 12.86%;
   
5. Vertigo – 10.73%;
   
6. Ancient – 8.27%;
   
7. Anubis – 4.07%.

Premier was conceived as a mode as close as possible to competitive Counter-Strike. It is worth reminding that in the updated system, the map on which the game will take place is decided by means of veto maps, where teams take turns voting for the maps they want to remove. However, so far, the distribution of maps in terms of popularity is not very different from CS:GO:

1. Mirage – 33.17%;
2. Inferno – 17.56%;
   
3. Nuke – 6.86%;
   
4. Overpass – 5.58%;
   
5. Vertigo – 4.17%;
   
6. Anubis – 2.14%;
