The Chinese team, Lynn Vision, suffered a clean sweep loss to Liquid in the first round of the lower bracket of Group D at ESL Pro League Season 18. The team is now one step away from being knocked out of the tournament.
Liquid, who risked starting their campaign without Robert "Patsi" Isyanov, not only played with a full roster but also effortlessly defeated their opponents from China, winning 16:9 on Anubis and 16:6 on Ancient.
The title of the match's best player went to Alex "Rainwaker" Petrov with a KD of 46/21 and an average damage per round of 101.
In the last-chance bracket, Lynn Vision will face the loser of the 9INE - Eternal Fire match (starting at 20:30). Liquid, on the other hand, will play against the losing team of the Cloud9 - Complexity match (starting at 17:00).
