Soccer player Lionel Messi has invested in the esports organization KRU Esports. This information was shared by the club's founder Sergio Aguero on Twitter.
Previously, the manager of KRU Esports expressed the organization's intention to form a CS2 (Counter-Strike 2) roster by 2024. The owner of the organization, Aguero, confirmed this plan and also promised to create a club academy consisting exclusively of players from Argentina.
KRU Esports is an Argentine esports organization founded in 2020. At the time of the article's publication, the club competes in only one discipline – Valorant.
