CS2 has released an update — revamped the interface of the Premier mode

In the night of January 30, Valve released a new update for Counter-Strike 2. Players in Premier mode can now track their progress throughout the season, and one of the custom maps — Basalt — has received an update. Information about the patch appeared on the official CS2 website.

What's new in the update?

The main innovation is the redesigned Premier Mode interface, which now displays the player's progress throughout the season. To earn the second season medal, you must meet three conditions:

  • have an unrestricted account;
  • achieve 25 wins in Premier Mode matches;
  • maintain an active CS rank by the end of the season.

You can also see your highest rating for the season, which will determine the color of the award received. However, despite these improvements, the leaderboard still does not work — player rankings are still not displayed.

Additionally, the Basalt map has been updated to the latest version from the Steam Workshop. Fans of the AUG and SG 553 weapons have also received an improved gaming experience — developers have fixed graphic sight issues with these rifles.

Earlier, Valve released a patch that launched the second season in Premier mode. Besides this, developers reduced the price of FAMAS and M4A4. More details about the update can be found in our article.
