KSCERATO: "We're in a good spot... we are confident and we are ready."

FURIA continues to demonstrate stability on the international stage. After a series of confident results in 2025, the team reached the semi-finals of BLAST Open Fall, where the Brazilians hope to take another step towards the coveted big trophy.

Kaike ‘KSCERATO’ Cerato told HLTV that this tournament has special significance: it was in London six years ago that FURIA lost to Vitality in the ECS final, and now the player dreams of a long-awaited rematch.

On similarities with Vitality’s dominance

KSCERATO compared his current team to Vitality at the peak of their power, highlighting that FURIA are now capable of winning rounds that look almost unwinnable thanks to improved confidence and communication.

When we play, it's the same thing as when Vitality won seven events in a row. They won some rounds they should not win, they are all [having impact]. I think we have this now, we are understanding the game and communicating very well.

On preparation and confidence in London

The Brazilian rifler emphasized that being in the semi-finals already gives them extra time to prepare and study their opponents, which he sees as a significant advantage going forward.

We're in a good spot. Semi-final already, we can watch how the teams are playing, we have more time to prepare ourselves as well.

On revenge against Vitality

For KSCERATO, the biggest motivation would be facing Vitality in the grand final. The memory of their loss at ECS 2019 in Wembley Arena is still fresh, and doing it again in the same arena would make the story even more special.

I want to play Vitality in the grand final because six years ago, we lost to them in ECS London in the final. It's revenge, London, same arena, same hotel, everything.

On FURIA’s young star molodoy

KSCERATO also praised Danil "molodoy" Golubenko, who has impressed in his first months at the top level. For him, the young AWPer has the potential to become one of the best players in the world.

He's still young. So it's easy to figure out how he can impact the game, the kid is killing it. He's doing some good rounds. I'm happy for him, he's going to be an amazing player, a GOAT.

On YEKINDAR’s impact

Finally, he underlined the influence of Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis, whose knowledge and communication have brought a new level of structure and stability to FURIA.

He's impacted our communication and organization a lot, during the round. On CT side he has good impact, and T side he's [running in first] and all this stuff.

With a place in the semi-finals already secured, FURIA are closer than ever to lifting a long-awaited Big Event trophy. For KSCERATO, though, a potential grand final against Vitality would mean more than just silverware — it would be about rewriting history in London.
