In his latest interview, Monte's team rifler, Šimon kRaSnaL Mrózek, expressed his opinion regarding the economy changes in Counter-Strike 2 by Valve. kRaSnaL believes that Valve will not make changes to the economy until PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024.
At the moment, many players are complaining about the economy presented in Counter-Strike 2. Since it perfectly suited the previous version of the game, where there was an MR15 system. But with the return of MR12 in Counter-Strike, it became clear to everyone that the economy needed to be changed urgently.
After all, the pistol round now means a lot. And essentially, after losing two buy rounds, a team with a 90% chance cannot win half. Many players wanted a different economy for the first Counter-Strike 2 Major. Recall that the RMR championships at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 will start on February 14.
And here's what kRaSnaL thinks about it:
If I wanted to change something in CS2, I would remove the $1,400 bonus for losing, and it would be much better if teams received at least $1,900 for losing a round. This would make the gameplay smoother and easier. But I think there won't be any significant changes to the economy before the major in Copenhagen.
