Known for his openness and transparency, coach of the UNPAID team, kassad, shared details about the distribution of prize money for second place at the RES Regional Champions tournament.
For UNPAID, the tournament was significant, with the team earning $50,000 by showcasing strong gameplay at the LAN championship in Serbia. However, attention was drawn not only to their position in the tournament but also to how these funds were distributed among team members.
How the prize money was distributed
Kassad decided to reveal exactly how the $50,000 amount was distributed. He shared this information on the X platform, detailing that each of the eight key figures in the team received a fair share:
- Players: $7,000 each;
- Coach: $7,000;
- Analyst: $5,000;
- Manager: $3,000.
However, kassad and CYPHER voluntarily decided to donate $1,000 each to increase the analyst's share to $6,000 and the manager's to $4,000. All team members agreed with this decision, highlighting a high degree of mutual understanding and team spirit.
For transparency, we divided 50.000 dollars between eight people :

Players : 7000 each
Coach : 7000
Analyst : 5000
Manager : 3000
Cypher and I gave up addition 1k each to add to Analyst and Manager for their hard work, so they got 6000 and 4000.
Everybody agreed to this.
Support from kassad and bonuses for the team
These financial details aren't the only example of kassad's care for his team. Former assistant coach of BLEED, ELECTRO, who worked with kassad, responded to his post, sharing that the coach had previously paid various bonuses to his players and staff, covered 50% of bootcamp costs for RMR, provided Cypher and him with an apartment, and even paid for tickets to Belgrade for him and h4rn. This emphasizes that kassad cares not only about the team's results but also its well-being.
On top of that kassad gave out multiple bonuses before, both to his staff and players, paid 50% of bootcamp for the RMR + gave both cypher and me apartment to use, flew me and h4rn in Belgrade on his expense, etc. https://t.co/AUkCyrNul8

Quick payout from RLG
Kassad also praised the tournament organizers—RLG, noting that the prize money was paid out just an hour after the finals ended. In esports, this is extremely rare, as it usually takes much longer to receive prize money. This fact only enhanced the positive perception of the tournament and highlighted RLG's professionalism.
Unlike our organization, @RelogMedia has paid out prize money 60 minutes after the tournament was over.

Thats how serious people do things.
Big respect for them for all they have done before and during the event.
Everything was 10/10.
Significance for the esports world
Kassad's disclosure of the prize distribution details and his support for the team demonstrates the importance of transparency and a fair approach to management within esports teams. This can serve as an example for other teams, inspiring players and managers to interact more openly with fans and the community.
