Today, the first elimination matches of the VCT 2025: Pacific Kickoff concluded. Renowned Ukrainian coach Ivan "Johnta" Shevtsov shared his perspective following ZETA DIVISION exit from the tournament after their match against Paper Rex.

Building new rosters always takes time. At the highest level of competition, you’ll be punished for even the smallest imperfections. Even if you have five superstars on your team, you’ll face many shortcomings (just look at NRG '24, for example). The goal is to create a team that is both stable and full of potential. The coach also emphasized that achieving the desired results cannot happen in such a short timeframe and that the team will be better prepared for Stage 1, starting in March.
