Astralis player in CS2, Jacob Jabbi Nygaard, shared his thoughts on the team's key rivals. The Danish esports athlete discussed this in a post-match interview at BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2024 with the HLTV portal.
Nygaard also talked about how he handled the community's criticism after leaving Heroic.
[Question: Would you say Falcons are now another Danish rival because they have two players and a coach?] They have a really good team, and Heroic are also still Danish, they have three players. I don't think we have any rivals, to be honest. But it's always nice to play against good teams.
[Question: Your previous move garnered a bit of criticism from the community. Does this add a bit more pressure for you?] For me, it's all about doing well with the team, having good chemistry, and just feeling good. That is how you will become a good team, and the thing I'm focused on.
In the opening match at the event, Astralis defeated Team Falcons with a score of 2:0. On January 23 at 18:00 EET, Nygaard's team will face Team Vitality for a spot in the grand final of Group A. Pre-match team statistics are available via the link.
