Is s1mple officially finished with his career?

Today it became known that the former sniper of Natus Vincere, Aleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev, gave an extensive interview to the English-speaking analyst Thorin. According to the influencer, the interview will be released tomorrow evening.

In October 2023, s1mple moved to the reserve of Natus Vincere and there have been no rumors about his return since then. Moreover, it is worth considering that s1mple had previously promised to give an interview to Thorin after the end of his career.

Below we will provide the main points from the interview, which will be released tomorrow evening:

  • The beginning of his career, playing in the first major, a ban for cheats
  • The story with #news1mple, issues with teammates, an ugly act by Flipsid3 players
  • Why he wasn't always a sniper, meeting Hiko, and the period in Liquid
  • Transition to NAVI, first title, and relationship with GuardiaN
  • Playing under the captaincy of Zeus, problems with individual performance in the veterans, tilts due to losses
  • Separate discussion about flamieelectroNicEdward.

Thorin himself states that the interview will be released on December 25th at 6pm CET / 12pm EST / 9am PST.

Recall that on May 12, 2022, s1mple responded to a tweet by Thorin, where the latter called the Brazilian sniper FalleN the most overrated player in the history of CS:GO:

When I finish my career, I'll tell you what a piece of shit you really are. Find a job, moron

From this, it can be speculated that s1mple is considering ending his player career.
