After direct assistance from the audience in the match between NAVI and GamerLegion at the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 for CS2, Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen said that he does not know why they don't disable X-ray for spectators during clutch moments. In his opinion, this could simplify the game and make it relatively easier for teams in some clutch situations.
Crowd help in the Match against GamerLegion
During various rounds on two maps, the crowd assisted GamerLegion by indicating the opponents' positions, which caused negative reactions from NAVI fans. However, the arena's assistance did not help GamerLegion secure a victory, and they exited the tournament.

AleksiB Words about the X-ray
He was asked how he reacted to the moment during his clutch when the crowd helped GamerLegion with information about him:
There was a moment when I was flanking around the smoke, and I heard the crowd start yelling, and I'm not sure if they yelled because I was flanking or because something else was happening, and I messed up my timing. I really don't know why organizers don't disable the X-ray in clutch situations.
Information from MOUZ
Today, MOUZ tweeted that it seems the X-ray is now being disabled in certain situations. However, there was no official information about this, but if they have indeed done it, then that's really cool.
