Imperial parts ways with their sniper in the CS2 roster

Imperial has announced that Brazilian CS legend Henrique "HEN1" Teles has been transferred to the bench, which came as a shock to the player himself. The decision to kick him was made without his input.

According to rumors, the former 9z sniper Santino "try" Rigal, who has been on the team's bench since October 2023 at his own request due to personal health problems, will take HEN1's place.

Henrique "HEN1" Teles played for the organization for a year, where they managed to get to the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 and reach the second stage of the tournament, where, unfortunately, they took 12-14th place. His rating for the last 3 months was 6.3, which is pretty good.

The last tournament for the team was FiReLEAGUE Global Final 2023, where they took 7-8th place, and HEN1 himself finished the tournament with a rating of 5.8, which was probably the reason for his replacement.

According to rumors, Santino "try" Rigal has already been announced for the team at the upcoming ESL Challenger Season 48 South America, which has already started today. But the team will play their first match against CASE in BO1 format. For try, it will be a comeback after more than six months of inactivity.

After announcing his retirement to the bench. HEN1 tweeted the following:

When I came to Imperial, I made it clear that I wanted to finish my career here. I'm tired of having to find a new team and start over every year. In the last few years, I have dedicated myself to staying on top. Speaking about off-field things, many people initiate and dwell on the past, but I assure you that I am a mature person focused on my career, relationships and family. The truth is, as the years go by and people continue to doubt my work, I still wish the best to all those who once again discredit me. I appreciate everything Imperial has done for me over the past year, and I feel like there is an unfinished feeling between us. Perhaps next time? I am open to negotiations and will do my best for new opportunities. I will reinvent myself, shut everyone up again, and you will be proud of me.

HEN1's brother, LUCAS1, is also currently without a team and maybe they can reunite again and rise to the top. This is the twelfth time that the player has been without a team, and he has many large organizations behind him that he has played for, namely: Immortals, FURIA, O PLANO, MIBR, GODSENT, Luminosity gaming and others.
