For the first time in 8 years, the CS:GO Major will be held without Gabriel FalleN Toledo.
The Brazilian team Imperial lost to Complexity with a score of 2-0 and lost the chance to enter the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023. The team finished its performance at the American RMR with a 1-2 record.
The match against Complexity was very close
It cannot be said that Imperial was not worthy of defeating Complexity in a face-to-face meeting because even though the meeting ended with a score of 2-0, the teams were approximately equal in terms of performance. This can be seen even from the average ratings. Imperial scored 6.0, and Complexity 6.1. Everything was decided in micro-moments, which are not even so noticeable against the general background.
Thanks to these moments, Complexity made comebacks and won necessary rounds, which led the team to victory. Thus, Complexity remained at RMR, and the FalleN team will not participate in the last CS:GO Major.
Complexity vs. Imperial stats
FalleN will miss the last CS:GO Major
FalleN's failure at RMR is a big event for the entire CS community. Yes, the last years of the Brazilian were not the best in his career, but he always reached the Major, despite all the difficulties. The whole community is already used to the fact that this player is always at the Major and fights to the end every time, the last time a Major was held without FalleN was in 2014 - DreamHack Winter 2014.
Unfortunately, the Brazilian will not be able to write his name in CS history once again before the end of his career. He took part in the last CS:GO Major.
And the American RMR for BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 continues, and today all participants of the Major from the Western Hemisphere will be determined. All information about the event is available here.
