Imperial fe and BetBoom Team have officially announced their decision to withdraw from the CCT Season 2 European Series 17 tournament. The organizers of the competition, Eden Esports, confirmed this information in their official statement. Instead of these teams, according to the VRS rankings, Alliance (#70) will play in the group stage and Partizan (#26) will participate in the playoffs.

Reasons for withdrawal

Imperial fe decided not to participate due to logistical difficulties and the need to focus on other competitions. Recent personnel changes in the team could also have influenced this decision. BetBoom Team, in turn, made the same decision, noting that they wanted to avoid overloading their players and better prepare for more important tournaments.

Tournament format

CCT Season 2 European Series 17 is a B-level tournament with a prize pool of $50,000. 24 teams take part in the competition. The tournament is held in two stages:

• Group stage: Swiss system, all matches are played in Bo3 format.
• Playoffs: knockout stage, all matches are also Bo3.

Eight teams from the group stage will advance to the playoffs, where they will compete for the main prize of $22,000.

Changes to the schedule

Due to the withdrawal of Imperial fe and BetBoom team, Alliance will play in the group stage, and Partizan will take BetBoom's place in the playoffs. The organizers assure that these changes will not affect the overall structure of the tournament.

• 2nd place: $10,000
• 3-4 places: $5,000
• Places 5-8: $2,000
• Places 9-24: no prize.
