In a recent interview with pley.gg, Ivan iM Mihai from the NaVi team shared his view of criticism, distinguishing between analysts’ assessments and the opinions of forum users. He highlighted the gap in understanding between those behind the scenes and those participating in discussions on the forums.
People can only base their opinions on what they know, which can be hard. For example, sometimes I watch Champions League football and I say “why does this player not pass better” or “why does he shoot instead of another player”, but I have no clue if there’s good reasoning behind it.
iM now focuses on improving his mid-round performance and stopping play time to find opponents' weak spots, a role he has taken on in the team.

Known for his talkative nature both inside and outside the game, iM has taken on the role of co-captain in which he feels comfortable.
Recognizing the necessity of his role as a second caller, iM does not worry about the potential impact on his individual play, prioritizing the success of the team over personal statistics.
Today the NaVi team will play a match against FlyQuest at ESL Pro League Season 19, which will start at 14:30 Kyiv time.
ESL Pro League Season 19 started on April 23 and will last until May 12. 32 teams will compete for a prize fund of $750,000.
