The Danish club Heroic secured victory in the first playoff match of the BLAST.tv Paris Major held at Accor Arena. FaZe finished 5th-8th and earned $45,000, losing with a score of 1:2 (Nuke 14:16, Overpass 16:12, Mirage 6:16).
FaZe almost staged a comeback from a score of 14:5 on the first map, but they fell short of a few rounds to win Nuke or at least force overtime. Overpass was a more confident map for karrigan and his team, and here the Danes attempted to come back from a 5:15 score, which they couldn't achieve. Mirage, on the other hand, was completely dominated by Heroic, who crushed their opponents 16:6, gaining 12 rounds on defense.
