During the technical breaks on the American RMR, there were not enough admins.
The correspondence of the Imperial and Complexity team players in the game chat, in which they discuss the fact that the administrator did not come to them during the technical pause, got into the network. This makes us think about the quality of the organization of the event.
How could this happen?
The first question after reading this chat is how this could happen. The screenshot shows that Imperial urgently needs an administrator, and the team has only 13 minutes left for breaks. The pause is technical, the Brazilians have some problems, and Marcelo chelo Cespedes calls the administrator via chat. The situation itself looks absurd.
At all major events, each team has an administrator behind them who is responsible for technical pauses and solving problems. And this is not his only function. He also monitors the implementation of the tournament rules and what the players do. If he was not behind, all this was not have been fulfilled. How, then, can we talk about RMR as something serious?
Asian and American RMR became the worst RMR in the history of CS:GO
After the completion of RMR tournaments in all regions except Europe, it is possible to conclude how BLAST coped with holding events. There were almost no questions about the European tournament - everything went at an excellent level, and we hope that group B will pass as well. But all this does not concern American and Asian events.
The fact is that BLAST decided to hold these tournaments with the help of an outsourcer, and the American RMR got TO Liga Ace, and the Asian one - MESA. And it is possible to say with confidence that these TOs did not cope with the task.
Huge technical pauses, a lot of violations of Valve's rules, which in general can be the reason for considering these tournaments illegitimate, non-working headphones on the American RMR, random people behind the players' backs without coordination, and no fines for this.
There have never been so many problems with the organization at RMR tournaments, and BLAST has ruined its reputation with such outsourcing because the inexperienced tournament operators literally could not cope with the fact that the tournament would be held according to Valve standards. Let's hope that the major itself will overshadow all these problems.
