gla1ve announced his return to the professional Counter-Strike 2 scene after a four-month hiatus

On October 28, 2023, the legendary Danish captain Lucas 'gla1ve' Rossander announced on his official Twitter account his desire to return to the professional Counter-Strike 2 scene.

Previously, he was benched in Astralis, and the captaincy was taken over by Benjamin 'blameF' Bremer. Now, there is no spot for the former captain in Astralis. Although the tier-1 scene is currently undergoing reshuffles, Astralis is likely to experience them too.

We are now talking about stavn and jabbi, who temporarily left the main Heroic lineup aiming to join Astralis.

However, the community has already started linking gla1ve with Heroic, who recently kicked their captain – Kasper 'cadiaN' Møller. Therefore, it seems like a pretty good option.

gla1ve:

Sometimes it takes one step back to take two forward. I'm finally feeling like I'm ready to play the best CS of my life again and I'm ready to jump back on the server. If of interest, reach out to [email protected]

As gla1ve himself states, he is still under contract with Astralis, but they have allowed him to consider new offers.

Actually, it's a suitable time to return to the game, even though there are only 4 months left until the Major, and winter holidays are approaching. Lucas 'gla1ve' Rossander could strengthen any team and possibly lift the 5th Major trophy!
