In his latest interview, the manager of the German organization G2 Esports denied rumors that the team will soon lose its sniper in the person of Ilya m0NESY Osipov. He also touched on the topic of the departure of the team's riffler Nikola "Niko" Kovač.
Recall that earlier there were rumors that Falcons Esports wants to buy m0NESY and Niko from G2 Esports. This information was shared by the famous French insider Sebastien krl Perez.
According to his source, G2 Esports considered the idea of reducing NiKo's salary, as the club concluded that his current fee is excessively high for the team. However, Kovač refused to agree to such a change. While m0NESY expressed his desire to continue playing alongside Kovač on the same team. The terms offered by the Falcons team are piquing the interest of the players. The organization's management is pushing for Marco Snappi Pfeiffer to create a roster around the pair. krL also noted that Mohammed BOROS Malhas may retain his spot on the team.
And here's how the G2 team manager answered the question about the fate of m0NESY:
We don't want to sell Ilya for any money, we are not even considering these offers, and we have already told this to the teams that were interested in him
That said, when asked about NiKo, he did not comment on the situation directly, but made a statement hinting at his departure:
NiKo is one of the greatest players to ever touch the game we love and live by, and replacing him 1 to 1 will be extremely difficult
Previously, a KrL insider shared information about the Falcons' aspirations to create a superteam by combining m0NESY, NiKo and Russell Twistzz Van Dulken, but other sources denied the claim.
