On the third day of the group stage of PGL Bucharest 2025, a couple of other matches ended. G2 became the first team to secure a place in the playoffs with a 3-0 record, while paiN became the first to stop participating in the championship after three consecutive defeats.

G2 2:1 Complexity

G2 continues to show consistent form: the team finished the Swiss stage with a perfect 3-0 record. The match against Complexity turned out to be tense - especially on the Dust2 starting map.

On Dust2, G2 started with a 10:1 lead, but Complexity rallied and made a comeback, tying the game and sending it to overtime. However, the experience of G2 players showed - 16:12 in favor of the Europeans.

On Anubis, the American team took revenge - 13:10, but on the decisive Ancient, G2 won again - 13:10.

This victory puts G2 in the playoffs from the first place, while Complexity have a 2-1 record and still have a chance to move on.

Falcons 2:1 paiN

Falcons avoided elimination and kept their chances for the playoffs after a tough match against paiN. The starting Nuke map ended with a 6:13 defeat for Falcons, but NiKo and company quickly seized the initiative.

On Train, they won a confident 13:8 victory, and on Inferno, they pressed their opponent 13:9.

• MVP: NiKo - 56 frags, 96 ADR, 13-4 in Open Duels and a rating of 7.6
• EVP: nqz - 42 frags, 78 ADR, 9 multikills and a rating of 6.5

Falcons still remain in the tournament with a 1-2 record, but paiN Gaming is eliminated after losing all three matches (0-3).
