FURIA Esports has officially bolstered their ranks with the signing of Felipe "skullz" Medeiros from Team Liquid and has successfully renewed contracts with star players Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato and Yuri "yuurih" Santos for an additional three years, reaffirming their commitment to maintaining a strong core.
skullz, a 22-year-old talent, returns to a Brazilian-based project after a brief stint with Liquid. His time at Liquid, marked by high expectations due to his significant $600,000 buyout from paiN. His return to Brazil with FURIA is seen as an opportunity to revive his career in a familiar environment, potentially elevating FURIA back to being competitive contenders on the international stage.
FURIA's operational shifts also extend to their coaching staff, with Nicholas "guerri" Nogueira moving to a Head of Esports role within the organization. His previous duties as coach will be taken over by Sid "sidde" Macedo, previously an assistant coach. Additionally, FURIA has reinforced its analytical and coaching lineup with Hunter "Lucid" Tucker and Viacheslav "innersh1ne" Britvin to ensure the team remains competitive at the highest levels.
