Furia Esports won their first LAN championship for the first time, previously, they had only participated in online tournaments

Today, the Brazilian organization Furia Esports emerged victorious in their first LAN championship, specifically the Elisa Masters Espoo 2023. In the championship final, the Brazilians defeated their opponents with a score of 3:0.

Prior to this, Furia Esports had only secured 4 victories in online championships. However, those victories were achieved during the pandemic, competing in the American region, unlike today.

To begin with, it's worth mentioning that Furia Esports' 4 online victories include:

  • ESL Pro League Season 12: North America
  • Elisa Invitational Summer 2021
  • DreamHack Open Summer 2020: North America
  • DreamHack Masters Spring 2020: North America

But today, a miracle happened, and the Brazilians finally won their first LAN tournament! It's worth noting that the organization began its journey back in 2017. Over all these years, the organization has managed to earn $1,797,298 in prize money.

Furthermore, in the summer of this year, the legendary Brazilian sniper Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo joined the team, and this victory became his first while representing the team.

Elisa Masters Espoo 2023 took place from November 29 to December 3 in the Finnish city of Espoo. The prize pool amounted to $200,000, with a total of eight teams participating in the tournament, divided into two groups.
