The esports organization FURIA Esports has moved Rafael 'saffee' Costa to the bench. This information appeared on the club's official Twitter account.
saffee has been playing for FURIA since January 2022. During this period, the team participated in three Majors with him and made it to the playoffs in two of them. The greatest achievements of the Brazilian esports player over this career stretch were 3rd-4th places at IEM Rio Major 2022 and ESL Pro League Season 15. At the time of publication, it is unknown who will take his place in the main roster.
Future of FURIA
Earlier, FURIA made another change in its roster — Andre 'drop' Abreu was also benched. More about this can be read here. According to rumors, the MIBR organization is interested in the services of the drop and saffee duo after recently excluding two players from the main roster and looking for a new anchor and sniper.
As for FURIA, information has repeatedly appeared on the network that the club intends to acquire esports players from Imperial Esports — Gabriel 'FalleN' Toledo and Marcelo 'chelo' Cespedes. The esports players have already given their consent to the transition, but it is unknown whether the organizations were able to reach an agreement on the transfers.
