The esports organization FURIA Esports announced the departure of Andre drop Abreu from the main CS:GO roster. The information appeared on the club's official Twitter account.
Drop had been playing for FURIA for nearly two years. During this period, the team participated in four CS:GO majors with him, the best result being a 3-4 place at IEM Rio Major 2022. Also, the team reached the playoffs in three out of four majors. Recently, Abreu's individual skill significantly deteriorated, which was the main reason for his replacement. At the time of publication, it is unknown who will take his place in the main roster.
Looking to the future
It is assumed that FURIA plans to make another change in its composition - the club wants to part ways with Rafael saffee Costa. According to the Dust2 Brasil portal, the MIBR team is interested in the duo drop and saffee after recently sending two players to the reserve and starting to search for a new support and sniper.
On the other hand, FURIA intends to strengthen its team with esports players from Imperial Esports - Gabriel FalleN Toledo and Marcelo chelo Cespedes. It is currently unknown whether the parties have reached a transfer agreement, but this was previously reported by the GameArena and Dust2 Brasil portals.
