Registration for Fragadelphia 18 is open and the event promises to be one of the biggest in the tournament's history. For the first time, Fragadelphia will feature not only Counter-Strike 2, but also other esports disciplines.
Fragadelphia, which will be held from December 5-8 at Hy-Vee Arena in Kansas City, Missouri, is expanding its boundaries and increasing interest among professional teams. What makes this tournament special is the flexibility of the prize pool, which can grow to $50,000 if 55 teams participate. The participation limit is 64 teams, but the organizers do not exclude its expansion in case of high demand.
Registration features and team lineup
As of now, 14 teams including Party Astronauts, CPH Wolves and Take Flyte have already confirmed their participation. For teams with a coach, the registration fee is $750 and without a coach, the registration fee is $630. These prices are in effect until September 30, after which they will be increased, making early registration more cost-effective.

Fragadelphia 17's $100,000 prize pool attracted several European teams, including BIG Academy and Apeks. BIG Academy, led by Elias “s1n” Stein, who is now captain of M80, reached the finals, where they lost to EG White. The participation of international teams adds to the global scope of the competition and increases the level of competition.
Fragadelphia 18 Outlook
Fragadelphia 18 will be a milestone in the tournament's history due to the participation of other esports disciplines and a possible increase in the number of teams. Increasing the prize pool based on attendance incentivizes more participants, which in turn increases the prestige of the tournament.
