FPS dropped again after another update in CS2

After the latest update in CS2, Thour decided to conduct FPS testing and noticed it had dropped again. The community's reaction to the dip was negative, but understandable. He also noticed an update to the Steam FAQ for the Armory Pass and the method of earning points.

After the previous update with the Armory Pass, FPS dropped by 14%, which is significant. This time, FPS is slightly better than in The Armory update but still 11% lower than before the update. A few more "various stability fixes" might return FPS to its previous level.

I have never seen a company behave as ridiculously as Valve, which wouldn't hide behind the FPS issue.

How Points Are Earned

Thour also shared how XP is currently earned. To earn XP, you need to deal damage with bullets. Knife and grenade damage are not counted.

Steam FAQ Update

Valve added "Gifted" to the question of whether these passes can be gifted, exchanged, or sold on the community market. The answer to all these questions is no, you cannot sell, exchange or gift it.
