Valve has released a new update for Counter-Strike 2, which includes significant changes to the scoring system and several fixes. In the Competitive modes Casual, Wingman, and Competitive, points for damage from knives and grenades will no longer be counted.
Valve has also fixed third-person weapon view angles by fully integrating recoil display. This change will allow players to better control weapons in this mode, especially during dynamic fights.
Additionally, issues with missing shadows on some custom maps have been addressed, which should enhance graphics and the overall game experience. The update also adjusted the Arsenal weapon preview, ensuring that unnecessary models no longer appear.
Valve has added a useful enhancement to the network graphs, where a number is now displayed to show the scale of the graph. This will help players better track the status of their network connection. In addition, bugs related to the display of casings, which could previously be shown as error patterns, have been fixed.
