FaZe Clan will play against a team of "legends" in a Counter-Strike 2 show match

On July 8th at 18:00 EEST, a show match of Counter-Strike 2 will take place, featuring a team led by former Polish professional player Filip "NEO" Kubski and FaZe Clan. The announcement was made on the official SteelSeries Twitter account.

The match will be played in a best-of-5 format, and the English broadcast will be hosted on the SteelSeries Twitch channel. The teams will compete for a prize pool of $10,000. The organizers note that due to the limited map pool in CS2, some maps may be played multiple times.

Another show match was previously announced between Natus Vincere and Team Vitality. In this matchup, the teams will play on three maps. In the first game, the lineups will remain unchanged, then there will be a sniper exchange, and on the third map, Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev and Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut will play on the same team.
