Which teams will compete in the championship?
The list of teams participating in the BLAST Premier World 2023 Final is not yet finalized, but three of them are already known.
Heroic, the winners of the BLAST Premier Spring Final, have secured their spot just before the player break. When the winner is determined in November, they will be joined by the winner of the BLAST Premier Fall 2023 Final.
The participation of the FaZe Clan team in the event has already been confirmed. They secured their place in Abu Dhabi by winning the Intel Grand Slam at ESL Pro League Season 17.
Similarly to BLAST Premier, ESL Pro League has two slots for the final, so the winner of Season 18 will also automatically qualify for the December final.
Tournament prize pool
As we mentioned earlier, the total prize pool of the championship will be $1,000,000, and the complete distribution of prizes is as follows:
- 1st place - $500,000
- 2nd place - $250,000
- 3-4th place - $85,000
- 5-6th place - $25,000
- 7-8th place - $15,000
It's worth noting that the previous year's final tournament was also held in the UAE, and at that time, there were minimal spectators in attendance.
