FaZe Clan beat MOUZ and advanced to the finals of Intel Extreme Masters Sydney 2023

North American organization FaZe Clan defeated MOUZ team in the semifinals of the first CS2 Intel Extreme Masters Sydney 2023 tournament and reached the final!

The match ended rather quickly in favor of FaZe Clan, especially considering that the tournament is played on MR12 system, which obviously shortens the duration of games. As a result of two played maps, FaZe Clan guys beat their opponents with the score 2:0.

The first map of the confrontation was Nuke (peak of FaZe Clan team), where MOUZ managed to win only 4 rounds and all of them were won for defense. In the end FaZe won the map with the score 13:4.

 
 

The second map was Vertigo, which was already chosen by MOUZ, but even here they managed to win only 9 rounds and lost the map with a score of 13:9.

 
 

The title of the most valuable player of the match was taken by FaZe Clan lurker Robin "ropz" Kool, whose average rating for two maps was as much as 8 whole.

 
 

What is the result?

FaZe Clan made it to the final of the championship, where they will meet Complexity tomorrow at 10:30 Kiev time.

MOUZ left the tournament in 3-4 place, for which they earned 20,000$ per team.
