Complexity, in turn, handled Imperial and demonstrated confident gameplay, affirming their ambitions in this tournament.

In the second half, paiN continued to dominate with a 12-7 lead, but FaZe did not give up, taking 5 consecutive rounds, forcing overtime, where paiN emerged stronger, winning the map 16-13. On the decisive map Nuke, FaZe pulled ahead after winning an eco round, which was a pivotal moment for their victory.
Imperial, on the other hand, exited the tournament after losing to Complexity. On the first map Dust2, Imperial fought back from a rough start and pushed the game into overtime, but Complexity proved stronger in the overtimes. On the second map Vertigo, Imperial started strong; however, after switching sides, the game turned, yet Imperial managed to secure the game without letting it go to overtime. On the final map Anubis, Complexity showed excellent team play, winning 13-5.

Thus, FaZe and Complexity continue to compete in the tournament, while paiN and Imperial exit IEM Rio. Both teams, despite their losses, can be proud of their performance and for presenting significant competition to more experienced teams.
