PGL Bucharest 2025 for CS2 has just begun and already delivered true intrigue for the viewers. In the opening round of the Swiss system, four matches immediately determined the first leaders and those at risk. Among the winners are 3DMAX, Rare Atom, Complexity, and G2.
3DMAX vs The Mongolz
The opening game day was marked by a tense showdown between The Mongolz and 3DMAX, ending with a 2:1 score in favor of the European team. Ancient went to The Mongolz after a hard-fought finish — 13:11. Inferno was controlled by 3DMAX: after an even first half, they managed to push through — 13:10. On the deciding map Anubis, 3DMAX showed resilience, starting strong and preventing a comeback — 13:10.

Rare Atom vs Virtus.pro
The second match of the day brought an unexpected outcome — Rare Atom defeated Virtus.pro with a 2:0 score. On Mirage, the Chinese team dominated and finished the map with a crushing score — 13:3. On Ancient, Virtus.pro took the initial rounds but couldn't withstand the opponent's pressure — 13:7. Rare Atom confidently recorded their first victory and are already contenders for the tournament's breakout team.

Complexity vs Falcons
In the match against Falcons, Complexity left no chance for the opponent, winning 2:0. On Train, they confidently started with eight rounds in the first half and smoothly carried it to victory — 13:6. On Dust II, the scenario repeated: the same structure, even more assured finish — 13:5. The American squad showcased coordination and confidence — a formidable start to the tournament.

G2 vs GamerLegion
G2 also recorded a 2:0 victory against GamerLegion, but the match was more intense. On Mirage, the teams alternated taking rounds, but in the second half, G2 seized the initiative — 13:8. On Inferno, GamerLegion managed to put up a fight and pushed the game into overtime, but G2 played perfectly — 4:0 in extra time and a final score of 16:12.
