Falcons and FaZe have been eliminated from the BLAST Open Spring 2025, losing in the lower bracket to Virtus.pro and Spirit, respectively. The winners will play in a match for a spot in the tournament playoffs and the chance to compete in the Lisbon arena.

Falcons vs. Virtus.pro

The first map was Mirage—Falcons' choice. They had a strong first half, finishing it with a score of 9:3 and almost gave up their advantage in the second half. However, they managed to hold on and secure the map with a score of 13:11.

The second map was Ancient, where both teams won nine rounds each on attack and defense, leading to an overtime battle. It was nothing short of incredible, but Virtus.pro emerged stronger, winning 19:16.

On Inferno, Falcons started better, ending the half 7:5 and confidently conducted their attack, bringing the score to 12:5. However, Virtus.pro made a comeback and pushed the game to overtimes. Everything was decided in the third overtimes, where Virtus.pro won 22:20 and advanced further in the lower bracket for a playoff chance, while Falcons were eliminated from the tournament.

FaZe vs. Spirit

On Anubis, FaZe's pick, Spirit left no room for their opponents. A strong start in the first half with a 10:2 score set the pace for the entire map. FaZe attempted a comeback, but Spirit confidently closed it out—13:8.

Nuke also began with Spirit's advantage (7:5). FaZe tried to turn the game around, but Spirit's attack was top-notch—13:9 and 2:0 in the series. Thus, Virtus.pro and Spirit continue their fight in the tournament, while Falcons and FaZe head home.

BLAST Open Lisbon 2025 takes place from March 19 to 30. The group stage will be held at the BLAST studio in Copenhagen, and the playoffs will take place at the MEO Arena in Lisbon, Portugal. You can follow the results and progress of the tournament in more detail via the link.
