Falcons advanced to the semifinals of PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 after defeating Eternal Fire in the quarterfinals. With this victory, Eternal Fire's streak of 4 consecutive wins against Falcons, including two this year, was broken.

Falcons started the match confidently on Train, which was their opponent's map choice. The first half was successful for them, ending 8:4, but in the second half, Eternal Fire attempted a comeback and almost pushed the game into overtime. However, they fell just short, and the map concluded with a score of 13:11 in favor of Falcons.

On Dust2, it was Eternal Fire's turn to showcase their strength, finishing the half at 7:5. In the second half, the Turkish team secured the game confidently with a 13:6 victory. The third map was Nuke, where Falcons again started strong and closed the half 7:5. Thanks to a key round win during Eternal Fire's comeback attempt, Falcons secured the victory with a score of 13:8.

The best player of the match was NiKo, who displayed high-level and confident gameplay. In the semifinals, Falcons will face the winner of the FaZe/SAW matchup. Meanwhile, Eternal Fire exited the tournament in 5th-8th place, earning $62,500. 

PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 takes place from February 14 to 23 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Sixteen teams are participating in the tournament with a prize pool of $1,250,000. You can follow the schedule and results of the event here.
