ESL has announced the dates for the sixth season of ESL Impact. The tournament itself will kick off on August 4 with the first of two open qualifiers and will culminate with the LAN finals starting on November 22 in Stockholm, Sweden.
The online leagues, starting on August 28, will be divided into three regions: Europe, North America and South America. From Europe, five teams out of eight will advance to the LAN finals, South America two, and North America one. Team Imperial fe continues their dominance on the women's scene after NAVI Javelins gave them a bit of a reprieve by defeating Ana "ANa" Dumbravă and her team in the grand finals of the EPL Female Season 1 and TradeIt League Fe Masters Season 3.
However, the NAVI Javelins suffered a group stage loss in Dallas, allowing Imperial Fe to win the trophy and extend their LAN tournament win streak to seven.
The ESL Impact League Season 6 schedule itself is as follows
- Open Qualifier 1: August 4
- Open Qualifier 2: August 9-1
- Online League: August 28-October 2
- LAN Finals: November 22-2
So it will be interesting to see if the NAVI Javelins can regain their footing or if Imperial fe will continue their impressive winning streak. Teams from all over the world will fight for the right to advance to the LAN Finals in Stockholm, where the best of the best will battle it out for the title of champions.
