Zews' second stint at Liquid was less long and successful compared to his first stay with the team from 2016 to 2018, when he helped the team reach several grand finals such as ESL One New York 2017 and 2018 and IEM Chicago 2018, as well as winning cs_summit 2 and SuperNova CS Malta. In the first half of 2024, Zeus and Liquid's revamped roster's best achievement is reaching the CCT Global Finals 2024, which the team lost to Eternal Fire.
We would like to thank @zews for his time with us and his passion for the project. We will be parting ways but we want to thank him for his efforts and his drive to push each player to be their best. pic.twitter.com/XvRffSFM5y

Liquid's current roster consists of:
The team also missed out on PGL Major Copenhagen, failed to qualify for Esports World Cup and had disappointing results at major events such as IEM Dallas, IEM Chengdu and two BLAST tournaments. With the departure of Zews, Project Liquid lost three of its six members by 2024, leaving only Canadians NAF and Twistzz and the underperforming YEKINDAR in the lineup. It is rumored that Twistzzzz could be the team's IGL in the future, and the name of the new coach remains unknown for now.
The departure of Zews means significant changes for Liquid, which is trying to regain its competitive edge after failing in the first half of 2024. The team will face significant challenges ahead in finding a new coach and possibly rebuilding the roster to accommodate a new IGL in the form of Twistzz.
