ENCE have accepted an invitation to participate in the Skyesports Championship 2024 in Mumbai, India, which will take place from July 23 to 29, as announced by the event organizers. This decision came after Skyesports expanded the tournament from eight to twelve teams and increased the prize pool by $100,000, bringing it to $300,000.
ENCE became the ninth team to participate in the tournament, joining The MongolZ, Eternal Fire, BetBoom, FURIA, Aurora, and 3DMAX. Additionally, the participants include Revenant and the local team True Rippers, who qualified through the Indian qualifier.
Their first performance with the new roster at YaLLa Compass 2024 was unsuccessful: they finished at the bottom of their group with one win in five matches. However, they significantly improved their results at ESL Challenger Jönköping, defeating MIBR and Complexity in the group stage but losing to Falcons in the semifinals of the tournament.
The tournament will start with a group stage featuring two groups of six teams each, where everyone will play each other in a BO1 format. Then, the top three from each group will advance to the playoffs, where they will compete for the main prize, which is yet to be announced, along with the remaining three teams.
