ENCE hires a new coach - Niclas “enkay J” Krumhorn joins the team

ENCE has announced a new addition to the coaching staff of its CS team. German specialist Niclas “enkay J” Krumhorn has become the new head coach. This news was announced on ENCE's social media, where the organization shared details about the new mentor.

Enkay J's professional experience

Prior to joining ENCE, the 35-year-old German coach had extensive experience with such teams as Sprout, BIG, and Entropiq. Niclas Krumhorn also worked as an analyst for G2 Esports and helped them win DreamHack Masters Malmö and ESL Pro League Season 5. The most notable achievement under his leadership was BIG's victory at RMR to Major in Antwerp, when the team qualified with a score of 3-0, beating the then ranking leader FaZe with a score of 2-0 at the LAN tournament.

Goals and approach of the new coach

In his statement, Niclas shared his vision for ENCE's future and the strategies he plans to implement:

“I am extremely excited to join such a prestigious organization as ENCE and feel very privileged to be here. My goal is to bring the team back to the top 10 in the world rankings. I want us to work hard, enjoy playing Counter-Strike, and get better day by day.”

Niclas is also known for his flexible approach to training, which constantly adapts to the needs of the team, with an emphasis on the tactical and strategic component of the game. In addition to his professionalism in the game, enkay J has gained a reputation as an empathetic coach who easily gets along with players and has a good sense of humor.

Reaction of ENCE management

ENCE General Manager Niklas “Willkey” Ojalainen shared his optimism about the new appointment:

“Niclas was the strongest candidate for the head coaching position. His experience as an IGL, analyst and coach is extremely valuable. He has great potential to bring structure and new approaches to our team.”

Debut on ESL Pro League Season 20

The new coach will join the team at ESL Pro League Season 20 in Malta. Although he won't be able to be on the court due to tournament rules, enkay J will start working with the team to analyze their needs and adapt to their style of play.

Thus, ENCE supporters expect that with the arrival of a new coach, the team will be able to reach new heights and return to the elite of the world Counter-Strike.
