The ENCE team secured a victory over TheMongolZ with a score of 2:1 in a tense match that took place on the maps Mirage (16:13), Nuke (10:13), and Anubis (13:5), thereby securing a spot at IEM Katowice 2024.
Pawel "dycha" Dycha was named the best player of the match with a rating of 6.9, showcasing impressive statistics of 57:45, 14 multi-kills, 84 ADR, and two won clutches. Additionally, ENCE's key to success was their excellent attacking play on the first and third maps. The team's experience, especially in the overtimes on Mirage, also played a decisive role in their victory over the young and ambitious TheMongolZ.
At IEM Katowice 2024, which will take place from February 3 to 11 in Poland, ENCE faces a challenging task. With a new Polish core, the team aims to make a mark at their home tournament and show good results in front of their fans, despite the lineup not being fully integrated yet.
With a prize pool of $1,000,000 and high stakes, including $400,000 for the winner, as well as slots at IEM Cologne 2024 and BLAST Premier: World Final 2024, IEM Katowice 2024 promises to be one of the most intense battles of the year in the esports world. Despite the challenges, ENCE has already proven they are ready to compete, thanks to their successful performance in the Play-In.
