Amir Darchinov is a 9-year-old talented CS player. Despite his young age, he has already achieved 2355 ELO on FACEIT and has spent nearly 8000 hours in the game. This accounts for 11% of his entire life.

FACEIT Block

After signing a contract with Team Spirit Academy, FACEIT blocked Amir Darchinov's account. Prior to this, despite his 2355 ELO and nearly 8000 hours in CS, he faced no sanctions — his age was not a concern to anyone. However, after the announcement of his signing, FACEIT took notice of his profile and banned him until 2029.

The reason for the block was the minimum age requirement to play on the platform — 13 years. Since Amir is only 9, his account will remain inaccessible for another five years.

FACEIT Explains the Ban

The ban attracted a lot of interest, so FACEIT's administration quickly responded to the situation and clarified their stance:

It doesn't matter if he's talented or not. We take our legal obligations very seriously and have already taken action regarding his account.
