Elevate have parted ways with their CS2 lineup

The Elevate organization has announced the parting of ways with its Counter-Strike 2 lineup, which has been playing under its tag for the past six months. This news attracts attention because Elevate, returning to the North American CS scene after a nine-year hiatus, bet on the ambitious timbermen team, but now the path of these players in the organization's lineup has come to an end.

In a short period of time, the roster has managed to play at prestigious tournaments including PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 Americas RMR and BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2024. However, unforeseen problems arose at these events - Deni “dea” Ediev was unable to participate due to the loss of his passport. Despite this setback, the team was able to perform at their best, winning local tournaments and leaving a mark on the North American scene.

Successes and defeats under the Elevate banner

The Elevate lineup included:

  • Wyatt “snav” Phillippi
  • Derek “dare” Brown
  • Shane “shane” Dressler
  • Jaxon “peeping” Cornwell.
  • Deni “dea” Ediev

This squad was able to win several significant trophies, including a win at the Fragadelphia Kansas City 2024. Over the course of six months, the team has repeatedly proven its high level by competing in various online cups and leagues, and remaining a playoff contender.

However, despite some successes, Elevate has failed to achieve significant breakthroughs on the big stage and challenge teams such as Nouns, Wildcard, and M80. Their most recent performance was a 2-2 loss at the Perfect World Shanghai Major Americas RMR NA Closed Qualifier, where they lost to BOSS in a tight series.

The future of the team remains in doubt

It is not yet known whether the timbermen lineup will continue to compete together. The organization has stated on X that this is not the end of their involvement in Counter-Strike 2, which leaves room for speculation about the future of the team and possible lineup changes.
