Eight European teams will battle it out in the closed qualifiers of ESL Challenger Atlanta 2024

The lineup for the ESL Challenger Atlanta 2024 closed qualifiers for the European region has been finalized. The list of teams that will compete for the only slot at the main event is finally known. Among them are both invited teams and teams that have passed through the open qualifications.

Teams' path to qualification

Four teams - NIP, SAW, Aurora and Sashi - received an invitation directly. The remaining four teams - Monte, B8, GUN5 and GamerLegion - went through the fire of open qualifications, where they battled their competitors and proved themselves worthy of a place among the other teams.

Monte knocked ENTERPRISE and FAVBET out of contention, B8 defeated Lazer Cats and GenOne, GUN5 defeated Anonymo and MOUZ NXT, and GamerLegion snatched victory from 1WIN and SINNERS. These results show that we are in for some interesting matches at the closed qualifiers, where every match will matter.

The upcoming competition

The closed qualifications for ESL Challenger Atlanta 2024 will be held from August 29 to 31. Eight teams will fight in Double Elimination format, where if you lose in the upper grid, there will be a second chance in the lower one. Only one team will get the coveted ticket to the main event, which will be held in Atlanta.

The tournament promises to be challenging for all participants, because at stake is not only prestige, but also the opportunity to reach the other top teams, including BIG, M80, BetBoom, FlyQuest and ODDIK.
