The latest update for Counter-Strike 2 has introduced several interesting changes to the shooter's code that the average user may not notice. These innovations were noticed by the dataminer Gabe Follower, who shared the information on Twitter.
Download CS:GO has become easier
Developers have added the latest stable version of CS:GO to the "Beta version" branch. The game is available for download under the name "csgo_legacy." If you've been wanting to feel nostalgic, now you have the opportunity.
The map workshop will be integrated directly into CS2
Based on the new code, CS2 will support map subscriptions from the workshop directly within the game, and you can download them right there. The dataminer stated that in the future, CS2 will receive a similar system for community content creation as in Dota 2. Most likely, there will be a separate tab for the workshop in the game.
Work is being done to address movement issues
Valve has added several additional checks for certain movement key indicators in CS2 when buttons are pressed and held. Developers are likely trying to address movement issues that various users have complained about over the past few weeks.
