Joonas "doto" Forss announced his retirement from professional gaming at the age of 28. This decision came as a surprise to many, as doto was one of the key figures on the Finnish esports scene. His career spans teams like HAVU, KOVA, and JANO, but he is especially remembered for his performance with ENCE.

With him, ENCE achieved significant positions in world tournaments, including their strong performance at IEM Fall Europe and participation in the PGL Major Stockholm.

doto's Career: From HAVU to ENCE

doto's rise began with local teams like HAVU, where he first started drawing international attention. However, the real breakthrough came with ENCE, when the team transitioned from an all-Finnish lineup to an international roster in 2021. One of the most notable achievements of that time was securing second place at IEM Fall Europe and advancing to the Legends stage at the PGL Major in Stockholm. These successes solidified doto as one of the leading players in his region and a key participant on the global CS scene.

Despite retiring from professional play, doto does not plan to leave esports. In his statement, he mentioned that he has already started studying sports psychology at university and plans to continue his career as a coach. According to him, his love for the game remains, and he feels that coaching is a role in which he can truly realize his potential: "My passion for the game hasn't dimmed.
