The first major LAN Tier-1 tournament for Counter-Strike 2 in 2024, IEM Katowice 2024, has come to an end. That means it's time to summarize the results of the championship.
The MVP of the championship went to 17 year old rookie from Team Spirit Danil donk Kryshkovets! Yes, what to say when it was the first dash-1 LAN in his life.

In the final match Team Spirit shut down FaZe Clan with the score 3:0 (Nuke 13:9, Mirage 13:11, Overpass 13:3). Team Spirit had previously beaten FaZe in the group stage with a score of 2-0. And in fact, they haven't lost a single map at the championship!
But, let's get back to donk. His average rating for 12 maps played was 8.1! Which is simply unthinkable numbers for a 17 year old player. In addition, his performance was the best debut on the Dash 1 stage of all time.
